Our Playspace Strategy is used to provide an overall framework for the consistent management and maintenance of play areas including providing general development standard guidelines, identifying appropriate levels of service for each type of playspace category and setting the proposed capital, renewal and disposal programs for our existing 48 playspace sites. The Playspace Strategy can be viewed in the document library.

Playgrounds have an important role in providing free and fun activity for our children. A strategy is being developed in 2018 to guide the management and provision of playgrounds across the Wingecarribee Shire.

Officers will be visiting pools, playgrounds and libraries in January to encourage families to voice their thoughts. Schools will also be invited to share the invitation with parents once they commence the first term.

The survey concluded on 18 February 2018.
