Consultation has concluded
In the next few months the Information Services team will be progressively updating telephone services across the council and as a result we will need to replace the handset that is currently on your desk.
The new approach is driven by a collaboration tool that will be installed on your computer called “Microsoft Teams”. This tool is interactive and user friendly and provides an array of features from voice calling through to video and instant messaging.
We're giving you the opportunity to choose which type of phone equipment you'd prefer when the time comes for a changeover.
The options offered are:
Option 1 - Wireless Headset (Over the ear)
Option 2 - Wireless Headset (Over the head)
Option 3 - Physical Desk Phone
Whilst we do not have a preference, the recommended options are 1 and 2 as these provide more seamless integration with your PC as well as WHS improvements ( you won't need to hold a phone handset).
So please have a think about it and complete the survey below by 4.30pm Wednesday 5 June 2019.
