Support sought for grant application

We're seeking funding for a bypass of Moss Vale's main street.

A corridor of land has been earmarked for a bypass of the Moss Vale town centre since the 1990s. Since that time a series of consultations with property owners in the vicinity has led to the development of a design for a railway overbridge which links Moss Vale Road, via Suttor Road, to Beaconsfield Road. This bypass would assist motorists travelling from the north and eastern parts of Moss Vale across to the west.

Traffic engineers are aware that this is not the entire solution for traffic relief within the town centre but it is a very good start and government grant funding which suits the project is available now.

We need your help with the grant application.

As it has been a while since we last discussed this proposal with the community we'd like to check back in before submitting our grant application.

Please take a look at the design and associated information in the library. We have also provided answers to frequently asked questions but if you'd like more information please contact, Frank Iacono, Traffic & Transport Planning Engineer, on 4868 0888.

Share your thoughts.

Your feedback will assist with a final review of the design and provide the funding body with an idea of current community sentiment.

Please complete the submission form by 9am, Monday 20 August 2018.
