Consultation has concluded

The current 'Balmoral Reserve' is located on the corner of Wilson Drive and Hall Street, adjacent to the Balmoral Community Hall.

Earlier this year, Wingecarribee Shire Council allocated $200,000 for park related works within the Balmoral Reserve. With these funds, Council proposed to create a recreational grassed area for families to utilise. There has been continual consultation over the last few years between Council and the Balmoral Community Association to create something beneficial to the Balmoral Community while taking into consideration concerns for endangered vegetation.

Submissions to the community were open and considered. Overall, there was great support from the community for the new recreational parkland at Balmoral Reserve.

It is now time to rename the reserve and the Council would like to hear from the community. To view the names and register a vote please use the quick voting tab to the right. Feedback will be open to the community until Friday 14 July at 4:30pm.
