This consultation has concluded. The Bong Bong Common Masterplan was adopted by Wingecarribee Shire Council on 22 May 2019.

Wingecarribee Shire Council is seeking comments on the Draft Bong Bong Common Masterplan.

Council has developed a draft Masterplan for the Bong Bong Common which will guide future provision, development and maintenance of this unique open space.

A key focus of the Masterplan is to create connectivity between the eastern and western sides of the Common and provide opportunities for visitors to learn about Aboriginal heritage, details of the first European settlement and to walk along the original Argyle Road.

Masterplans are visionary and intended to explore the possibilities of sites in order to develop and protect them in the most appropriate manner for each particular location. The Masterplan indicates short, medium and long term projects, some of which are aspirational and subject to available funding, environmental impacts and community feedback.

LEARN ABOUT THE DETAILED PLANS for walks, river crossings, signage, site entry, parking and toilet facilities plus much more in the Document Library and FAQs or view large images. Printed copies can also be viewed at libraries and the Civic Centre or online at www.yoursaywingecarribee.com.au.
