Council staff are preparing plans for the rehabilitation of Bong Bong Road, Mittagong (between Mary and Belmore Streets) in the 2015/16 financial year.
Rehabilitation works will address the poor condition of the road pavement, narrow road width, storm water drainage problems and the inaccessibility of nature strips. Take a look at the plans which include:
The removal or trimming of some street trees will be required as part of the upgrade and Council has engaged an independent Arborist to guide this aspect of the work.
Property owners in the vicinity of this project have been contacted recently to advise of the improvement plans. They will continue to be notified as the project progresses however this page will also provide updates and information.
