Landscaping plan for Moss Vale Cemetery

In 2015 a Landscape Master Plan was prepared in consultation with funeral directors and other stakeholders to revitalise Moss Vale Cemetery. The plan aimed to strengthen the cemetery’s sense of place and utilise its inherent natural features and views, thereby promoting desirability of the facility, as well as being an inviting place for people to mourn and reflect, well into the future.

The cemetery landscape design is intended to meet the specific needs of Wingecarribee’s diverse population, providing each community group with the dignity and the services that best meet their cultural, family and religious requirements.
