Corbett Gardens
Consultation has concluded
One of our most renowned and loved recreational spaces is due for a makeover and we want to hear your ideas for improving it.
Do you only enjoy Corbett Gardens during the magnificent displays of tulips in spring or are you a regular visitor who loves the peace it provides on a lunch break? Whatever your interest we'd love to hear which aspects are most important to you and what needs to be refreshed, removed, replaced or upgraded.
In early 2015 we asked the community how they currently used the park and how they'd like it improved (survey closed 15 June 2015) before submissions were sought about the categorisation of Corbett Gardens (closed 10 July 2015). We are currently reviewing all comments and awaiting Council's decision about land use for the site. Further information will be added to this page when we have draft designs and plans on exhibition in early 2016.

Categorisation Info Pack available
Share on Facebook Share on Twitter Share on Linkedin Email this linkA couple of documents are necessary for the upgrade of Corbett Gardens to occur. The first is a Plan of Management which ensures the community classified land is correctly categorised. An info pack has been prepared and an independent facilitator will be at the Hearing and Workshop on Saturday 20 June 2015 to hear what the community has to say about this. Please read the info pack in the Document Library and RSVP for the 20th or make a submission online, to ensure your thoughts are recorded.
Our second requirement is the preparation of a Master Plan which identifies all of the detailed uses and improvements planned for the park. The survey, 'Park Talks' and workshop are being used to gather information for the preparation of a draft Plan which will then be placed on public exhibition for the community to review and provide additional comments. -
