On 20 April 2022, Council resolved to exhibit a draft Disability Inclusion Action Plan (DIAP) 2022-2026.

Wingecarribee Shire Council is in the final stages of developing the next Disability Inclusion Action Plan (DIAP) for 2022-2026, which guides our work to improve access and inclusion for people with disabilities.

We would like to thank all community members who have contributed their feedback to make our Shire more inclusive and accessible. The feedback we received via our survey, focus groups and submissions has been incorporated into the draft DIAP now on exhibition.

The DIAP outlines Council's 2022-2026 plans to make life easier for people living with disability. It explains the steps that Council, in conjunction with our broader community, will take to ensure everyone has access to services, facilities, events and information.

If you are a person living with disability, family member, caregiver, service provider, business or if you are interested in creating an environment that is accessible and inclusive, we want to hear from you. It is important that the draft plan is developed in consultation with the whole community.

We would like to continue our commitment to supporting and improving access and inclusion to Council services and facilities.
