Consultation has concluded
Wingecarribee Shire Council is seeking feedback from property owners who don't currently receive a Domestic Waste Service.
Council is currently developing a Waste Strategy that will guide the waste services provided to residents over the coming 10 -15 years. It is also a critical time in the review of the domestic waste collection area as we prepare for a new waste collection tender process over the coming 12 months.
Separate to this, Council is conscious that rural residents are disadvantaged by not receiving a waste service and is looking for opportunities to provide a greater level of access to and consistency of waste services to residents, where it is both practical and economical to do so.
Those who receive a Domestic Waste Service incur the cost through their rates. To help understand the cost of a Domestic Waste Service we have extracted the below table from the 2023 Domestic Waste Management Charges.
Would you be interested in receiving a Domestic Waste Service? Are you happy to continue as you are? Help us understand what our rural residents would like.

Please provide your feedback by 4.30 pm Monday 15 May 2023.
If you have any further questions about the survey, please phone Waste Services on 4868 0888.
