Local Government elections 2020

Stand for your community and work with us.

Ever thought about running for a position on Wingecarribee Shire Council?

Did you do it? What motivated or stopped you? Are you considering it?

It is now less than 12 months out from the 2020 local government elections and we're hoping to encourage a diverse range of people to put their hand up to work with us.

To kick this project off we're doing some research... looking for information from the community to determine what interests them about the councillor role, the barriers they face and ways we can help them get across the line.

Complete a survey by 5pm, Wednesday 13 November 2019.

In coming months we will be sharing the results of the survey and announcing how Council will respond to the needs of potential candidates, including information kits and pre-selection sessions.
