Wingecarribee Shire’s environment comprises bushland, national parks, waterways and a diverse range of flora and fauna in many habitats.

Council encourages all of its community to ensure that the distinct and natural environment of the shire is protected and enhanced.

It also strives to engage and encourage the community by developing programs to explore ways in which we may all live more sustainably.

The Environment and Sustainability Branch will use this hub as a means of engaging with and receiving feedback from the community in relation to our projects and programs.

We wish to ensure the delivery of this information is in the most effective form enabling schools and teachers to access and implement essential practices, funding opportunities and council services in the most efficient way possible.
