Expression of Interest for regular and occasional hirers of Bowral Memorial Hall

Wingecarribee Shire Council is seeking interest from potential regular and occasional hirers for the Bowral Memorial Hall.

Recently Council has undertaken an upgrade to the existing Bowral Memorial Hall to provide a modern concert venue with quality facilities and ancillary services to enhance the cultural life of the people of the Southern Highlands. It is envisaged that the redeveloped Hall will become a focus for the hosting of local and touring orchestral concerts, chamber music groups, piano recitals, jazz concerts, contemporary music, bands, theatre, exhibitions, meetings, seminars, conferences and community events.

The Bowral Memorial Hall features:

• Concert platform with acoustic walls and ceilings
• Concert hall auditorium with retractable theatre seating facing a raised concert platform stage
• Concert hall stage with forestage steps from auditorium
• Foyer
• Box Office
• Cloak room
• Commercial kitchen
• Patron amenities
• Lift to access all building levels FOH & BOH
  
• Orchestra and stage lighting over the concert platform stage
• Sound, lighting and AV control bench to the mezzanine at the rear of the auditorium
• Sound system
• Audio/visual system
• Performer dressing rooms and amenities
• Rear stage crossover and assembly area
• Back of house technical facilities

• Air conditioning
