Consultation has concluded
Expressions of Interest applications for arts & craft stallholders at the Highlands Fest are now open.
You may remember Council was successful in securing event funding through the Reconnecting Regional NSW Community Event Program from the NSW State Government to hold a large scale community event that aims to reconnect communities and facilitate economic recovery in the local area.
Following community consultation held in October last year, the Reconnecting Regional NSW Program funding will be utilised to hold 'Highlands Fest' on Saturday 4 March 2023 at Bong Bong Racecourse.
Gates will open at 12 noon with music and entertainment commencing from 1 pm in the kids zone and 1.30 pm on the main stage.
Highlands Fest will be a day celebrating the Highlands showcasing our food and wine, as well as activities for children - culminating with live music from locals as well as headline acts.
Council is now seeking interest from local suppliers to participate in the event, with an opportunity to sell and showcase your local wares to those that will be attending the Festival.
A table top and covered marquee will be provided at no cost to you.
As there is limited space, 15 stall holders will be selected from the Expressions of Interest and will be assessed on local content.
To show your interest, please fill in the Expression of Interest form below, detailing your craft and how you see yourself contributing to this celebration of the Highlands.
Expressions of Interest close 9.00 am Thursday 16 February 2023.
Please note that an EOI application does not guarantee you a site at the Highlands Fest. As sites are limited the organising committee will review all applications.
