We want to hear what you think of our Draft Operational Plan and Budget for 2018/19

Wingecarribee Shire Council’s draft Operational Plan 2018/19 including Budget, Revenue Policy and Fees and Charges is a key document outlining our budget and proposed activities for the year ahead. Please take some time to look through it and consider our proposed programs and projects, as well as the continued significant investment in asset maintenance and renewal, works across the shire.

The Operational Plan outlines the projects, programs and activities that Council is proposing to undertake throughout the 2018/19 financial year to address the four year actions set in the Delivery Program 2017-2021. A number of minor amendments are proposed for Council’s Delivery Program to address identified gaps in the current plan. These new actions are:

  • Manage Council’s WHS risk management profile to ensure risks are mitigated
  • Develop and maintain Council’s Organisational Development Programs
  • Deliver an Information and Communication Technology service that meets Council’s business delivery requirements
  • Deliver Corporate Systems that meet Council’s business delivery requirements.

The draft Operational Plan currently on exhibition includes:

  • information about specific projects and programs set for the financial year
  • Council’s annual Budget
  • Revenue Policy
  • Fees and Charges
  • a Capital Works Program outlining significant investment in asset maintenance, asset renewal and new asset works across the Shire.

Council’s Delivery Program 2017-2021 and draft Operational Plan 2018/19 have been developed in response to the Community Strategic Plan Wingecarribee 2031.
