Proposal to Close Council Public Road Reserves in or adjoining Mt Gibraltar Heritage Reserve

In pursuance of the provisions of the Roads Act 1993, notice is hereby given that Wingecarribee Shire Council proposes to close part of the Council Public Road Reserves in Schedule 1 and as shown in the aerial map.

Schedule 1:

Part Cliff Street, Bowral

• Part Ellen Street, Bowral
• Part Earl Street, Bowral
• Part King Street, Bowral

Upon closure of the portions of Council Public Road Reserves, the land will remain vested in Council as Community Land pursuant to the Local Government Act, 1993.

The areas of closure will be consolidated into the Mt Gibraltar Heritage Reserve.

All interested persons are hereby invited to make submissions concerning the proposal to Wingecarribee Shire Council, PO Box 141 Moss Vale NSW 2577, within twenty eight (28) days of the date of this advertisement. Please note that under the provisions of the Government Information (Public Access) Act 2009, such submissions may be referred to third parties for consideration.

Once the submission period is completed, Wingecarribee Shire Council will consider all duly made submissions (if any) before deciding whether to continue with the road closure proposal.
