    Will there be further consultation?

Yes, after the design has progressed following the 21 May 2019 consultation. We expect we will be back in contact with the community in August 2019.

    When will construction commence?

Water main renewal will commence around September 2019 after public tenders are called for (dependant on contractor availability and weather).Construction work will be undertaken by an independent contractor.

Work will be scheduled to avoid any conflict with Tulip Time.

Road reconstruction is planned to commence early 2020. Construction work will be undertaken by Council’s day labour crews.

Can I be notified about construction activities?

Property owners and occupiers who are directly neighbouring the works will be kept informed throughout the project via letters or notices.

An emailed newsletter may also be issued from time to time during the planning and construction periods. If you'd like to receive updates please follow the project.
