Cover of draft Parks Strategy 2016

Wingecarribee Shire Council's Parks Strategy provides guidance for the future provision, development and maintenance of park land. We have recently undertaken a comprehensive review of this strategy and now invite you to comment on the draft by 29 June 2016.

The latest strategy has been developed by analysing the current provision of parks and future population growth needs before determining appropriate levels of service for the provision, development and maintenance of our parks network.

Take a look at the draft Parks Strategy 2016 to see what guidelines are recommended for:
  • number, location, accessibility, size and type of parks to be provided;
  • facility and asset standards which will drive new and renewal capital programs, depreciation schedules and developer guidelines; and
  • the level of service to which parks and facilities should be maintained and operated eg; provision of playgrounds, seating, bins etc
HAVE YOUR SAY! Share your thoughts by completing an online submission form before 4pm on Wednesday 29 June 2016.

Check out the document library and FAQs for more information please contact Peter Byrne or Kylie Stefaniuk on 02 4868 0888 or email Kylie.Stefaniuk@wsc.nsw.gov.au.
