Pies, pies and more pies

Consultation has concluded

We all know Australians love a good pie.

So Wingecarribee Shire Council's Tourism Unit (Destination Southern Highlands) initiated a unique marketing campaign called Pie Time in 2017 to highlight that we have a large concentration of quality Pie Makers in the region and position the Southern Highlands as ‘Australia’s Home of Pies’.

The campaign is aimed at giving potential visitors a reason to visit during winter with exciting offers of events, experiences and accommodation packages. The campaign won awards in 2017 and was expanded in 2018 to engage local community support and participation.

In an effort to grow this unique tourism selling point for our region we now seek your feedback and suggestions to improve the program of events and activities.

Get involved!

Complete our industry or community surveys by midnight 31 July 2019. Your responses will be used to identify what areas we should focus on with regard to communication, marketing and events.

You could win a Southern PIElands apron or Beanie! Just tell us you want to be entered into the draw at the end of the survey. See terms and conditions.

And for a bit of fun show us where you enjoyed pies on our map.

All responses will be recorded for reporting purposes however personal details will be removed and confidentiality maintained.
