Hello Robertson, it's time to have a say on the future of your village!

We have been working with the community to develop a community-led strategic plan for Robertson which supports Council’s transition to a better place-based planning framework. The draft Robertson Village Place Plan is a holistic place-based plan that addresses the housing, economic, social and cultural needs of the Robertson community, both now and into the future.

The draft Place Plan identifies a Vision for the future of the village and five (5) key themes including Environment and Sustainability, Movement, Economy, Housing, and Community and Place. The draft Place Plan is intended to reflect a shared responsibility between Council, the community and other relevant stakeholders to achieve the community vision set out in the draft Place Plan.

The Draft Place Plan will be on exhibition for six weeks from Monday, 4 September to 16 October 2023 and there will be a number of ways to get involved in the near future! Keep an eye out on this page to look for ways to get involved.

The Robertson Village Place Plan Study is now available through the Document Library. The Study includes the site analysis and the outcomes of the consultation sessions to show how this valuable information directly informed the draft Place Plan.

How to participate?

You can view the Draft Robertson Village Place Plan via the Document Library or read through one of the physical copies which will be made available from the start of the exhibition period, at Council’s Civic Centre, Bowral Library, Moss Vale Library, Council’s Mobile Library or at the CTC Robertson.

We would love to hear your thoughts on the draft Place Plan during this time and there will be many opportunities available shortly to do so…

  • Share your thoughts via a short online survey or make a submission through the Discussion Forum.
  • Join us at a drop-in session on Tuesday 5th September 2023 at the CTC Robertson to share your thoughts through a self-paced activity, so stop by anytime between 5:30-7:30pm.
  • Come along for a chat at the Robertson Markets on Sunday 10th September 2023 to ask questions and share your insights.
  • If you would like to provide additional written feedback, please feel free to email your submission to mail@wsc.nsw.gov.au.

Help us develop a Community-Led Strategic Plan for Robertson

Following the initial consultation on the Robertson Place Plan, Council have taken on board the community’s observations and ideas to help refine the analysis, as well as developing a strategic Vision and the initial stages of a Master Plan for the Robertson village.

As we enter the next phase of the Robertson Place Plan project, we will be holding a number of consultation sessions in Robertson, to demonstrate how the community’s input is being incorporated into the planning process, and to test the Vision, principles and early design solutions with the community. We will also work through some of the themes in the Place Plan, based on the feedback received from the community to date.

Council will be a consultation session in early April, and we would love to hear your thoughts on this important project for the Robertson village.

The consultation session will be held on Thursday 7 April 2022 from 5 pm-7 pm. Due to unforeseen circumstances, we have to move this session online, via Zoom. Below are the details of the Zoom meeting:

    Meeting ID: 893 0806 7330
    Passcode: 205875

    Zoom Meeting Link:

We were also planning on having a stall at the Robertson Markets on Sunday 10 April, however, due to the current weather warning in place for this weekend the event has been cancelled. We will still be running the online consultation session via zoom as planned and we will look at re-scheduling some face to face sessions in the near future.

If you live, work, or just love to visit Robertson, then we would love to see you at one of the sessions.
