Submissions are currently sought by Wingecarribee Shire Council for the following publicly exhibited planning matters:


Planning Proposal - Aitken Road, Bowral - Heritage

The NSW Department of Planning, Industry and Environment (NSWDPIE) has issued a Gateway Determination to progress a Planning Proposal to amend Wingecarribee Local Environmental Plan 2010 to add a new heritage item (comprising three properties) in Aitken Road, Bowral, and a new heritage conservation area in Aitken and Kangaloon Roads, Bowral.

The proposed heritage item comprises nos. 25-27, 33-37 and 39-41 Aitken Road and will be called the Aitken Road Interwar Housing Group. The proposed heritage conservation area comprises nos. 12-30 & 25-43 Aitken Road and nos. 56, 58 and 60 Kangaloon Road and will be called the Aitken Road Conservation Area.

The Planning Proposal is on public exhibition from Wednesday 15 January to Friday 14 February 2020 at Council's Civic Centre, 68 Elizabeth Street, Moss Vale. Copies of the exhibition materials can viewed here and can also be viewed at Bowral and Mittagong libraries.
