Traffic interruptions will occur next week

On Monday May 9 there will be some significant works happening at the bridge site which will result in temporarily changed traffic conditions. On the highway one northbound lane will be closed for most of the day whilst several concrete bridge arches are lifted into place. At the same time traffic on Railway Terrace will need to stop intermittently whilst the powerlines are dropped across the railway and Railway Terrace for this work to occur.

The powerlines will be reinstated on Wednesday May 11 and this will result in the need to intermittently stop traffic again whilst this work occurs.
