Wingecarribee Shire Council (Council) hereby gives you Notice that after the expiry of twenty eight (28) days from the date of this Notice, it intends pursuant to section 16 of the Roads Act 1993 (NSW) to dedicate the following land as a public road by publishing a notice to that effect in the New South Wales Government Gazette:
Parish – Yarrunga; County - Camden
LGA – Wingecarribee
All of the land in Lot 1 Deposited Plan 1277462 situated at Sproules Lane, Glenquarry in the State of New South Wales as shown in aerial map and plan.
According to searches obtained by Council, the land intended to be dedicated as public road was set aside for the purposes of a road left in a subdivision of land effected before 1 January 1907 or in a plan of subdivision that was registered by the Registrar-General before 1 January 1920.
Pursuant to section 17(2) of the Roads Act 1993 (NSW), the owner of the land may, in accordance with the rules of court, apply to the Land and Environment Court for a declaration that the land should not be dedicated as public road. Such application must be made within twenty eight (28) days of the date of this Notice.

Council's Leases and Licences of Council Property: Not-For-Profit Organisations Policy was adopted by Council on the 26 November 2014 (MN326/14).
A review of the Policy has been undertaken as a result of Council's resolution on the 9 June 2021 (MN157/21) to waive development fees and charges for development on Council owned or controlled land for not-for-profit and community organisations.
The Policy has been amended in the following areas:
1. Section 1 Objectives
2. Section 2.3 Licences of Crown Land - General
3. Section 2.9 Development Approval
4. Administrative Changes.

The NSW State Government has introduced a container deposit scheme to reduce littering across NSW. People can return eligible drink containers and earn 10 cents per container at qualified collection points.
The RVM kiosk has four (4) reverse vending machines. Two (2) for glass and two (2) for light weight materials. The dimensions of the RVM kiosk is 7m (long) x 5m (wide) x 2.4m (high).
Frequently asked questions
Cleaning of Kiosk Area
TOMRA will clean the kiosk in line with usage, with a minimum of daily cleaning by specialist contracted cleaners. This includes bin emptying, and removal of loose waste and general kiosk clean-ups. In addition, there will be two 240L bins located at the kiosk for the removal of plastic bags and the like.
Operational issues
TOMRA will remotely monitor the kiosk and will proactively take action when needed. Filling levels are monitored online, with vehicles deployed to service sites when they are almost full.
Security and Monitoring
CCTV video surveillance cameras will be installed on site to monitor illegal dumping.

Attached are details of the proposal together with an aerial of the Council property indicating the proposed location of the RVM kiosk.

The closure of the road reserve will allow formalisation of the Fire Trail currently located within the Old Argyle Road, Road Reserve. This will also enable application for funding to upgrade and maintain the fire trail to standard.
